Terms and conditions
REQUIREMENTS TO RENT:
- Over 25 years old and under 70 years old
- Have a valid and valid driver’s license. At time of rental, valid driver’s license from country of residence and passport are required.
- Have a credit card (Visa – MasterCard – American Express) with an available one that covers the excess for damages
- For those under 25 and over 70, they may purchase additional insurance to authorize them to drive for $ 300 per day
INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
- SLI – Civil Liability and Third Party Insurance, in accordance with current legislation in the Argentine Republic.
- CDW – Insurance for damages and / or missing parts to the rented vehicle with excess.
- TP – Theft or theft of the vehicle rented with excess.
- Taxes – VAT 21% – Provincial Stamping 1% – Vehicle Patent Tax 3.5%

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS:
- We accept up to 3 drivers in total free of charge.
- Each driver must meet the same requirements as the main driver.
ASSISTANCE SERVICE:
- In the rental contract we will provide you with emergency numbers so that you can contact us 365 days a year.
- These numbers are for emergencies only, for other inquiries we will answer on our phone +54 294 4434192 or by WhattsApp at +54 9 294 486 0000 365 days a year during our business hours (from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm)
- (Please check the documentation inside the rented vehicle)
- In case of injuries, the police report is mandatory.
PAYMENT
- Reservations made through this portal must be paid through the options provided therein.
- In case of not being able to process the payment, the reservation is NOT considered confirmed.
- To pay by bank transfer, you must make the consultation and subsequent reservation by email to rentacar@modenapatagonia.com, the values reported in this portal will be maintained.
RESERVE MODIFICATION
- During the period from July 1 to August 31 and December 1 to February 28: Changes to your reservation made 96 hours before taking the vehicle are possible.
- If the changes are made after 96 hours, a charge equivalent to 30% of the value of your reservation will be charged, which will be debited from your credit card.
- Outside of this period, there is no charge for modification of the reservation as long as it is 48 hours before the date of delivery of the vehicle.
- Please send us an email to rentacar@modenapatagonia.com in case you want to modify or cancel your reservation.
- Remember to include your reservation number.
WINTER SEASON
- Due to the possibility of ice or snow on the road, we offer special tires for these conditions and also chains, these additional ones have a daily cost of:
- Snow or Ice Tires $ 500 per day
- Snow or Ice Chains $ 500 daily
- They must request them in advance to ensure availability.
VEHICLE DELIVERY
- We offer a free vehicle delivery service in the center of the city of Bariloche up to a radius of 4 km.
- For deliveries at the International Airport it will cost $ 500 per segment within business hours (09:00 am to 08:00 pm)
- For deliveries or returns outside of these hours the additional cost is $ 1000 per section
- Reservations that have delivery and / or return hours between 07:00 am to 00:00 am will be accepted
- Modena Car Rental staff will look for you at the airport in the main arrivals hall with a sign with your name.
- It is essential that you inform us of your flight number, so we can check if there are delays or not.
- Your vehicle will be ready at the airport’s main beach. This service is available with prior reservation.
DELIVERIES OR RETURNS OUTSIDE OF OUR OFFICE OR BARILOCHE AIRPORT
- We provide the delivery service in Hotels, Cabins, or private homes, check cost, it will depend on the distance from our office in the center of Bariloche.
- We also provide the delivery or return service in another city, consult cost, it will depend on the distance from our office in the center of Bariloche.
